Saleroom Valuations
Saleroom valuations and auction advice are completely free of charge and without obligation. Please contact us by telephone, post or E-Mail. Where possible please provide us with photographs of the item, details of its condition and inform us of the piece’s history or provenance.

We also hold regular valuation days at Sotheby’s Olympia. This is strictly by appointment so please be sure to make a booking in advance.

We also travel extensively through the UK so it may be possible to visit you at your home or meet you at one of our valuation days held at venues throughout the county. Please watch this space for the latest details when available.

Insurance Valuations
As a fee paying service, we can prepare a detailed inventory and valuation of a collection for insurance or other formal purposes. Written valuation work is charged at the rate of £250 per day, plus travelling expenses where applicable.

For a single item that can be brought to us for inspection, we can provide a written insurance valuation for £25. Similarly, a small group of items can be valued for an additional £10 per object.
